‘FIXING TO CUT SLIGHTLY OVER 2% FROM THE BUDGET’

Can you believe the hype taking place? What if you got a 2% cut in wages? That means 2 dollars on every 100 dollars you make. Could you survive? Would it be a tremendous strain? Could you cut 2% of what you take home to make up the difference? Does the Government run so efficiently that it can not cut 2%?

As an ordinary citizen, do I have any answers? How about cutting $72 million spent each year on Alaska sightseeing trains? $22 million spent on old fashion trolley cars in Mo? $2.2 billion spent each year on free cell phones? The list is so long that in a short article, only a large thick book would do it justice.

Yet the administration is telling us the cuts must be made in the military, police, border patrol, FBI agents, etc.

It is a fact that our Government spends nearly twice of what it takes in. Does anyone think with the argument going on that our politicians have any intent to ever cut expenses to reflect what is taken in? Of course not. Can a family, a business or a Nation survive long by continually day after day, month after month, year after year, survive? No! No Way! No how! More later as I recall……………..

Of course the one place you want hear them talking about cuts is their salaries!!!! Thanks for the post and many, many blessings to you…Robin

  2. We wonder if you’d be so cavalier about this if this budget cut meant you losing your job. The cuts won’t be made by taking 2% of people’s salaries. We’re not sure you understand this situation very well. Some people will be put out of work. What’s with the crosses and the “god bless” with an attitude like this?

Please feel free to share your thoughts. God bless you!
